Dear Santa,
Thank you for bringing all that stuff that I really wanted a long time ago. So, I saw these really cool pants with buttons and jacket with leather stuff on the sleeves and I really, really need these clothes because I am going to be a rock star and this is what the rock stars wear. I know you don’t come out in spring but my mom only buys shorts and t-shirts now and don’t want to wait until next fall. So, please, can you make a spring shift, or something, maybe a weekend off and drop these cool clothes in my closet or under my bed because we don’t have a Christmas tree on now. I promise, I will be good and leave my mom’s famous chocolate chips cookies on my desk. Thank you, Santa! You are the best Santa in the whole world!

How is your breath now? Need some time to catch it? So what's with all the crazy coolness and visual effects? We asked Aven’s founder, brilliant photographer and graphic designer behind successful Simplicity Photgraphy, Angela Monson.
Naturally born photographer, Angela discovered this form of art when she was 13 years old and it became her obsession. Photography and fashion go hand in hand and eventually molded together beautifully in Angela’s new venture – Aven. She teamed up with the super talented clothing designer, Mitch Harris, to launch a boys clothing line with a city/urban appeal. Aven is just shortened word Avenue that has this pulsating street vibe that the design team is striving to achieve with their new collection.

Menswear is a main inspiration! Angela loves seeing a child dressed like an adult but with the a little childhood flair. Hence company’s signature slim fit and tailored look. “I love seeing their cute little bodies in tailored clothing. I really hate boxy clothing on boys or clothing that has characters on them.”- says Angela.
She points out to her favorite pieces in Aven’s debut collection: show stopping duo of blue corduroys and the plaid blazer; denim blazer with the chinos is also her favorite pairing.

“There really isn't much out there for boys that looks like Aven”, smiles Angela. “I am completely obsessed with kids’ clothing. That is honestly when I am happiest... shopping for my children! I wanted to dress my boys in something stylish... devoid of juvenile cheesiness and finally I took a plunge and decided to make my secret dream to start kids’ clothing line a reality”. And boy, are we glad you did!
